Before putting in an above ground pool prepare the area by ensuring that the ground is level and removing the grass with a sod remover.

If you are installing an above ground swimming pool on a hard concrete surface avoid using sand.
If there is less to erode then any problems you have will be smaller.
An 18 round above ground pool will require 2 yards of sand but since you purchased the foam cove you will only need 1 5 yards 2 tons.
To set up an above ground swimming pool correctly you ll have to make sure that the surface is completely flat regardless of the type of pool or the size of the space you re going to use.
