Right now i have ableton live 10 lite. It comes with all of live s essential workflows instruments and effects everything you need to record songs create hands on with your controller take music made in your apps further and so much more. More of live s instruments find endless inspiration to design your own sounds with live s wavetable fm physical modelling and sampling based synthesizers and the reworked max for live drum synths. Keep in mind that after years of owning ableton live 9 everyone got a pretty massive free upgrade when 9 5 came out.

The limited tracks and the lack of sounds on the lite version is kinda holding me back. Should i upgrade to the standard edition. Maybe you don t think the 9 7 to 10 difference is very big. Is it really worth 369. That point release was a huge jump and i wouldn t be surprised if they did that same kind of upgrade for live 10. Live 10 suite without an upgrade is 599.

For the full live 10 suite you re gonna pay 599. 299 is almost half the cost of buying the software new. Now there has been some debate recently going on the internet. Essentials you re dipping your toe into the ableton world for 79 and standard is the full version of ableton without all the extra suite instruments effects for 349.
